The Reds played again in both
the Legion B Northern League and the NCBL
(wood bat) league, and in 2011 the Reds
were moved to the American League in
the NCBL and faced a number of new
opponents. The Reds nonetheless
won the NCBL Championship for the 2nd
year in a row, winning a great
late-inning comeback over Cheyenne in
the Semifinals and then scoring 10
1st-inning runs to put away Thompson
Valley for the Championship. The
Reds finished the Legion season once
again as the top Class 3A team in the
State, earning a 3rd place finish in the
State Tournament.
The Reds are expected to play in both Legion B and the NCBL again in 2012.
